Offers are enthusiastically encouraged. You will not hurt our feelings.

So in '95 a buddy of mine starts to get dreams of rockstardom and all the chicks n drugs he could handle. Well the chicks turned out to be a wife and a daughter, and the drugs turned out to be Children's Motrin, Triaminic Nightime and Pepcid AC.

Fast forward to now. Unfortunately divorce time rolls around. As we are cleaning out the house there in the bedroom closet is this PV in all its 15w and perfect tweed glory (stay tuned there is more gear to come). Well my personal inventory is beyond the limits so I cannot take it off his hands...unless of course I want to end up using his matrimonial attorney. ;)

FWIW We A/B d it with a Fender Blues Jr. and this was the winner.

So have at it gents. He's asking $300 shipped CONUS

Rather than list all the boring specs and risk making errors here is a link to the manual.

Well...that's just a ridiculously nice amp for being so old. The tolex doesn't even look stained.

Yeah I think it was powered up three times. Once when he bought it and twice when I went up to Sheboygan to visit. The greasy finger smudges on the chrome are probably mine. Nothing a little Windex won't fix. And its true, I cannot find even a drop from a coffee cup or a ring from a beer bottle. I think it was in the closet for nearly its entire life.....stop, stop, stop. I know where you're going with that closet thing. Just stop it you perverts. ;)

I had one of those in blonde tolex & oxblood grille. It's a friggin' awesome little combo, one of those I wish I had back. I was new to electric and didn't keep it long enough, selling it to "upgrade" to a Fender Blues Jr. The BJ's bigger speaker did give a little more bottom end, but the Classic 20 with its EL84s and Celestion Vintage 10 was fast and transparent like a boutique amp.

I got mine for $130, but they're worth $300 if you're looking for something like that.

$300 is a fair price for one of those nowadays. I always look to see what they're doin' on craigslist and ebay. That's in the ball park.

Just sold one for $250 and it wasn't anywhere as nice. Mine was beginning to rust, the tolex had paint on it -- it was high mileage. I honestly don't understand the mystique behind these amps, seeing I retubed and and even put in an Weber at one point but was never quite satisfied. The guy who bought had a few others and seemed to know what he wanted. He liked my P90 Special! (My bit for Hamer religion...)

i think we here at HFC have a rule against shitting on someones FS ad.

at the least, in the words of dethklok, its a DICK MOVE.

Maybe Elin Woods could buy this amp to throw at Tiger. TMZ says she has a perfect Vardon overlap grip.

Come on Elin girl. That pitching wedge didn't do enough damage. Stick a Peavey up Tiger's tree this year!

ps to Elin- I'm here for you babe if you need some comfort & love. I have always provided "safe harbor" for Swedish swimsuit models. Haven't turned one down yet!

ps to Tiger - WTF were you thinking? Doooood, this is why you keep a picture of your wife & kids (& her attorney) in your wallet.

In case of temptation break glass and look at photos.

What, no PV love out there? If you have it, please lose the anti-PV eliteist idea. This is NOT your grandfather's old solidstate PV. These PV tube amps were popular with the Southern rock bands like Marshall Tucker, Lynryd Skynryd, The Outlaws, Molly Hatchett, etc.

For all intents and purposes you would be buying a brand new condition yet vintage tube amp. 20w from (2) el-84 power tubes. You can really push the amp to its limts without attracting the local police or your friendly neighborhood hearing specialist. Plus it looks cool with the tweed covering and oxblood grill.

Try it. You'll love it.

I'll bump, but can't bite...I'll publicly admit to being a PV user, have been for decades. I've been

gigging with a JSX for the last few years, but, can appreciate the Classic series (have a Classic 30

for rehearsals). SWEET little amps!

There's still time for Santa to tuck this under your tinsel covered fir tree.

Buy it! You will not be disappointed.

Just got this amp delivered to my house today. The sound is sooooo sweet - both the dirty and the clean sound are amazing!

I've been wanting one of these for years and finally have one.

Happy New Year to me!!!

Props to GeorgeK. He is a "newbie" here. FYI he is a pleasure to do biz with.
