Feynman Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 I pulled the ad down for a bit, but now it's back. Never left my house (nothing ever really does). I threw away the box, but I have the manual, power supply and unit. I've tried lots of these gizmos, and though simple and sometimes inflexible, the Tonelab LE, to me, just sounds great. $40 Shipped.
Brooks Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 i'm knocked out by my tonelab st;i sold my axe fx because some of the unadorned amp tones(marshall JVM, twin reverb, cowtipper) sounded better to methan similar amp sims on the axe-fx.

Feynman Posted November 26, 2009 Author Posted November 26, 2009 Sorry - just a joke. I changed the price once it was sold. It was $220 shipped.
killerteddybear Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 Sorry - just a joke. I changed the price once it was sold. It was $220 shipped. That's borderline cruel, I wrenched my wrist reaching for my wallet...
Brooks Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 should i grab one of these dude?????????????? if you need an all in one preamp/FX, absolutely. i run mine thru the power section of a powerblock and into a celestion loaded cab. the FX aren't as tweakable as the axe-fx, and i didn't do enough direct recording with either to have an opinion, but as a amp sim preamp into a neutral poweramp into a guitar cab, i prefer it. small & cheap too (just like me ).
