syscokid Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 A local guitar store has this used, but beautiful, Blue Quilt Top, Hamer Studio. Built in 2004, and is in very mint condition...with case. Price: $2195.... Any comments on the price? Pics taken with a cell phone camera:

For my preferences this blue one would be worth more if it had an ebony board. That said it is probably $1K overpriced for today's market. However, dealers dont just buy when prices low, they are also buying when prices are high and they are not in the business of breaking even on guitars and will often hold on to them until prices come back up.
