What's a good price on a 84 Special w/headstock repair?

not sure on the degree of the damage, or the quality of the repair. But assuming it was adequate, what would you pay?

I paid $350 for a beat, stripped Special with changed pups, but it didn't have any breaks. I have to agree Zen. All depends on the extent of the "crack" and how well it was repaired.

I am going to agree with David B on this one. I would ask for more pics of the repair but if that is all that was done and the repair is professionally done - $400 looks pretty good based on the pic.

It's easily worth that in original parts and case. Consider the body, neck and replacement pickup "free" at that price.
