Hamer Appraisals

Anyone have a suggestion?

I need an reputable appraiser that is knowledgeable with 4-digit Hamers specifically.

Time to adjust my musical gear policy.

It covers more about the insurance companies than anything appraisal related though. Misunderstood your initial question

I would use BCR Greg before anyone like Gruhn or anything remotely like the Blue Book-they have no idea whatsoever about Hamer values.

Blue Book is WORTHLESS when it comes to vintage Hamer stuff.

I forgot that Greg, appraised mine about 6 years ago.

Regarding Gruhn, I've heard from several people that he tends to inflate his appraisals.

Maybe.

But it would also mean higher premiums for the life of the instrument.
