phoenix Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 All original, extra strings, 2004. Minimal wear. Offered at $3,000 plus shipping and insurance. I paid a few grand more new. beautiful sound and lots of case candy. Edited to add: the body and neck are birdsey maple and the fretboard is brazilian rosewood. Custom splitable Seth Lover's matched to this guitar by Seymour and MJ. It says so on the PU covers, ultimate wiring package and binding and a very nice back carve. The last of my vintage amps are next. 1964 AC-30, 1971 50 watt Marshall head, 1953 re-tweeded Bandmaster #0025, 1955 tweed Bassman. BCR Greg has played these as have other forumites.

phoenix Posted July 28, 2010 Author Posted July 28, 2010 AC-30 is 1964. Very clean. original speakers and cones. damage includes 1 black handle cracked through. You cant see it but it can't be lifted without popping off. 1 or two aftermarket corner protectors. Replacement 3 prong plug at end of cord. It is a Bass model so it came a bit darker than regular. When Gregg Levy at High Test matched a set of NOS tubes he compensated for the darker bass capacitor. The tubes were about $1,000 and have single digit hours on them. The funky 3 position tremolo works fine unlike many. Original foot switch. Last fall's vintage price guide had it at $4-4,900 but it is cleaner than"Very Good." I can have a few dealers verify its originality and get a certificate of such from Gruhn's since they have inspected it thoroughly. Offered at $3,800 plus shipping and insurance.
