elduave Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 For Hamer, it's currently $80 (down from were it was). I forget for G&L, but in the same ballpark...

JohnnyB Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Dave, What's the upcharge for a lego fretboard? Is that a Leg Paul?
Jem Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 I charge £15, once again i'm too fucking cheap for my own good !
kizanski Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Bound and crowned?Looks like the inlay delete option, which I think is another $80. But worth every penny!
tbonesullivan Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 If you are ordering a Carvin, the standard fretboard wood is Ebony. No upcharge for switching to rosewood, or to standard maple finished with minwax tung oil. They do charge extra for Birdseye maple and flamed maple. For other makers, they charge more for ebony, though I'm not exactly sure why. I don't believe it is that much more expensive. Maybe it's harder to work with because it can be brittle?
