I hope that you realize that this is the stupidest thing you might have done in this situation. It is a very simple matter for the moderators to find out who you are (believe me, I was a moderator on a high school forum and dealt with this crap all the time). You'd better start writing a personal apology, because it will not be long before we all know who you are. I suggest you delete this post and send savethematches that apology before it becomes a public board affair.

Delete it yourself. Go back to your post, click edit and then look for the option window at the lower left, click it and one of the options will be to delete the post and hopefully the entire thread will go, too.

I saw it, I thought it was kind of funny. I knew it was a different name as soon as I saw it. Any one who says they thought it was you is full of shit.

It pretty much left the impression that this is not an auction site for peoples personal stuff that they dont want anymore. This is a Hamer guitar and bass site.

Flame me if you want but I agree with it. Sell that kind of stuff on ebay.

It was a spoof auction for a barbie collection and 20 pairs of used unwashed underwear. It looked to be a joke. I didn't get the impression you were being trashed.

Two problems with this situation:

1. Parody handles. Not cool and not allowed. Next time it happens the corresponding IP address will be posted immediately in the offending thread and y'all can do what you will with that info. I'm tempted to do this right now, actually, but I suppose a warning is in order first. There won't be a second.

2. Self-contained auction threads. Not cool and not allowed. These will be locked immediately in the future. There are plenty of auction sites out there where this type of sale can be done.
