From a Duotone to a TRIOTONE.

Young slide master and brave boy Geoff Hartwell decided that a Duotone isn't versatile enough, so he sent me a flattop roundie and another box of bits, including a Roland GK system.....

Bits all over the joint....

After firing up the trained beaver, there was ALMOST ROOM......

Pickup and switches installed....

Well, it worked.

Now the Triotone has up and down switches for the synth patches, a volume for each rig(electric/acoustic/synth) and a special tort output plate for the synth because the plain black one was cheap, boring and unbefitting of a gentleman of Geoff's stature...

A fantastic guitar that now makes whale farts!

I had so much fun test driving this puppy that I am now on the hunt for a Roland GK synth for myself.

when i went thru my guitar synth phase 10 years ago, HHB told me i should mount my GK pup to my duotone. i considered it, but my duotone is my best guitar. although i'd def do it if i had several DT's like geoff (and still had a synth).
