Miss Charlie Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 To say HI! I am a new user here and I have a Hamer to sell. Hopefully I should have the pics up in a few days time. I wanted to formally introduce myself first.
kurtsstuff Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 Hi! What are ya sellin and welcome to the HFC!!
Miss Charlie Posted February 27, 2005 Author Posted February 27, 2005 Unfortunately, due to the fact that I am not playing it as much as it should be played I must sell it. I am not doing it the justice it deserves. It is a beautiful Monaco Superpro and the color is Jazzburst. It is in superb condition, not a scratch. I am however, still very attached to it and I will take a trade as I do love it's tone and the way it plays, but it is the wrong size and color for me, I need something smaller, but still chambered and either a blueburst or a blackburst, but must be in great shape. My Hamer came from the Hamer factory in Connecticut last year, it has all it's paperwork and original case. I should have some pictures up tomorrow.
Miss Charlie Posted February 27, 2005 Author Posted February 27, 2005 I am still taking a few days to think that over. I will post that when I post the pictures.
tafkathundernotes Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 Maybe an Artist or Newport would be a better fit for you. Welcome to the board, BTW

I understand wanting to go with something smaller, so good luck. Get another Hamer and stay & play here and welcome!

hardheartedbill Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 Welcome Charlie, sounds like a cool guitar Kiz, it appears that Kull has left the flock so to speak ( just so ya know )

elduave Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 I thought it was the belt and shoes that where supposed to match!
kizanski Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 "you have to double stain them to get them that black"That process is often employed to accentuate the properties of lesser quality socks and footwear.
pesocaster Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 I thought it was the belt and shoes that where supposed to match! hence I always look like an unmade bed...... I guess my fasion eye has glaucoma….
rmahurin Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 What's up with Kull, ie,.....I guess Kull is out of Charlie Drown -- Just introduced the new guy on the CD message board. That having been said, black socks and sunshine are just plain WRONG!!
Miss Charlie Posted February 27, 2005 Author Posted February 27, 2005 I can not speak for Kull, but he wanted to do other things, which was very cool with me. The band is my baby and I found a guy to take his place that ROCKS! He does not play Hamers.. yet, but I always buy my band mates wicked Xmas presents so maybe there will be one in his future.I should have more pics of my baby up tomorrow morning if I can find the time. And HI everyone from that Hamer BBQ! I am still going to try and swing a trade for a Newport, I do think I got a chance to fall in love with one at that particular BBQ... unless I am mistaken.Pesocastor - was that guitar I loved, the small cherry one I did not want to let go, a Newport?
custom53 Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 When will Charlie Drown be on the East coast or Midwest....??? (Columbus, Ohio)Can't wait.....

Ah yes.... that was JohnnyB's Newport ....... You may keep an eye out for a Newport Pro.... with a stop tailpiece.... Johnny's has a bigsby trem....
DavidE Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 Charlie: Safe to assume you play pretty high gain stuff? Forgive me if I'm wrong. If so, a Newport may feedback too easily for you.
rmahurin Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 Shite happens, people evolve, goals change. Nothing but love for CD here, Charlie. The new album is great!Send this new 7-string guy Rev our way!
