Maybe BCR Music could take it over for custom orders...!?!? -
I have one simple rule when it comes to loaning guitars.... I don't...!

Spooky Creepy Eerie too cool.... and

I wouldn't classify them as "Glam Rock" I like Glam rock... (Cooper, Bowie, Dolls, Sweet, even Kiss)

Have played thru a couple of digitech 2112s and 2120s ( I think thats right). Sound great but very expensive and time consuming to set up. The Line6 stuff is crazy cheap for what you get and I have to admit they sound great. And they are easy to use. I still am staying analog but then again I am not hauling equipment every weekend either.

I never felt "comfortable" with a Tele although I owned a few. Here are some pics.... (The "Elvis" one wasn't mine. But it looked so cool I thought I would post it anyway) The Elvis Tele This was a 50th Anniversary MIJ Tele. Loved the looks of it also "52 reissue. This was probably the best playing Tele I ever owned. Not really a Tele, but I always thought Eddie had a Tele in mind when he designed this.

How many of you play your guitar straight into the amp...
custom53 replied to BubbaVO's topic in Hamer Fan Club Messageboard
I will use a few effects for certain songs (mxr phase 90, chrous, delay, etc) but usually it is straight thru the amp (either my Soldano HR50+ or the Peavey Classic 100 because of the reverb) Both are 2 channel. -
ANY Beatle album...

I have to admit, it is feel with me also. I have owned many guitars. Some I bought on eBay or "not touched" for what ever reason. (Rickenbacker - John Lennon, Red Special - Brian May, etc) or I just always wanted "that model" or whatever. I have kept my '81 Hamer Special and my Ernie Ball EVH thru out the years and they were the ones that just felt right. Also my Ovation Breadwinner feels great although it doesn't sound as good as the other ones.

1981 Hamer Special. Still have it. Bought it new (or traded a Les Paul Custom for it) right after I saw Jethro Tull and Martin Barre playing a Hamer...

That picture was taken in my backyard in Columbus, Ohio. I sold it to another member of the Hamer board. (Paster ____?) -
Played an open jam thru the house bands equipment, I have a few half stacks (Soldano, Marshall, Peavey) The amp I used was an old tweed Mesa. One 12". Suberb little amp. Could dial in anything. Volumn level kept up with the other guys Marshall 2-12 combo. I was very impressed.

I'd Appreciate Your Prayers, Vibes and Thoughts

From another Columbusite, DO NOT let depression get the best of you. Stay busy. My best friend in the world was diagnosed with liver cancer and had half of it removed last year. We found out last week it is back and he is in the process of getting on the liver donor list (That and the insurance company hassles is enough to weaken the biggest man) I myself have been recovering from "castastrophic injuries" I encountered in January. Depression is the biggest concern for myself and my buddy. We are both keeping each others spirits up. The main thing is that, and it is a cliche, you begin to see how trival some problems are now that you thought were major before, and how important friends and family are. Keep the faith and remember there are many, many great doctors here in town. And I am sure you have a great family and friends. Good Luck with everything, Mike (custom53) -
and the name of the band would be.......????

I'll be 53 New Years Eve. Just seen the last Who show of North America. (Saw them the last time in 1975) I know many friends who went the "turn it down, Country style" route. I still rattle the windows whenever I can with a few friends my age who still like it loud. We play Trower, Bowie, AC/DC, Queen, Montrose, etc... Is there something genetically wrong with us "older" guys still wanting to rock...?
