Pick of the Month: 1984 French reissue. 3 LPs in slipcase for $15.00! Currently playing this and really enjoying it. Wish I would have opened my ears to these guys sooner...

Executive produced by Ted Templeman. EVH pulled a lot of strings to get AH signed to Warner Bros. Neither AH or WB were happy with the results and most of it got wiped and re-recorded. This, "Metal Fatigue" and, "I.O. U.", is my favorite AH-era.

Interesting band.  Lots of mixed styles.

Vocals ranging from Peter Steele to Geoff Tate to Nergal

Second and last Fight release. Missed this one on last month's RSD Drop, very bummed. It was going for $175.00(!) on eBay. Stumbled over it, sealed, for $20 at my local shop.

Max Middleton, Tony Hymas and the mighty Simon Phillips. I saw this tour in 1980, Universal Amphitheater. At the end of the encore, Beck hit a huge, "E" chord, stood the guitar up on the stage and grabbed the headstock with both hands. With his feet in each of the cutaways, he pogoed the guitar all over the stage with the resultant, huge crashes of glorious noise. Crowd went apeshit.

RSD 2020 reissue. If I'd have known this was 2x45 LPs, I would have passed. Turns out, it sounds phenomenal. Certainly helps the spartan production of the original release.

Classic of the genre. Great, GREAT metal. The guitar team are simpatico, songs are heavy and diverse. King Dingdong's vocals are, admittedly, an acquired taste, and I never really enjoyed his solo stuff, but it works here.

Bob Welch; the OTHER FMac guitarist. The post-Peter Green era kind of gets the short shrift from blues fans, but I dig it. All of the BWelch era...I dig it.

ETA: I’ll make an exception for, “Penguin.” The best songs are McVie’s, she owns that LP. Rest of it seems a bit unfocused.
