hi HFC Experts

i played my California
intensely since the eighties and now when i look at the freetboard
it look a bit worn out or maybe it is really really about time to do something about it

i do not bother me when i play on the guitar
but i can’t really get my mind straight about it
so now i ask you

what do you think
should i get the freetbord replaced/ fixed or should i keep it the way it is?

That's some good honest wear on there. If it doesn't pose a problem I'd leave it as it is, YMMV.

just play the fucker.... but, it seems that you do :)

So...

play that fucker more ;)

it is honest play wear.

Honored.

more than most that are just typical wall hangers.

it's all good, if it does not bother you.

DANG! how many times has that guitar had the frets replaced? I've only seen wear like that when the frets are worn down to foil, or when the player has long fingernails on their fretting hand.

Natural scallop job. You're halfway there - keep it like that!
