WTB: Hamer Daytona

I know, I know...

Anyway, looking for one with 3 single coils, a rosewood board and alder body, not too heavy. Don't really care about the body condition too much, but I'd like the neck to be in nice shape.

Watcha got?

I've been thinking about moving my '95 down the road to pay for some other sins. Only one I've ever seen with a matching headstock. It's got Lindy Fralin Blues Specials in it right now but I'm pretty sure I've got the original pickups. Not sure of the body wood or the weight but I can pop it on the scale when I get home tonight. Guitar is in excellent condition with OHSC in pretty good condition. I honestly have not kept track of what these have been selling for so shoot me a PM and we can talk about it if you're interested.

I'd insert a wise-crack here but I've got no room to talk... heck, I ought to buy stock in Paypal, Fed Ex and UPS so I can get some of my money back. B)

Did you just have to wait until I sold mine to post your WTB? Hamerhead is hoarding them at the moment so good luck.

I'm just an ass like that  Wasn't sure the Cali was staying at that point, but now I am so I have to do a little gear reconfiguratin' :D

Shawn's right. I have 2 of his cast-offs (trans white/maple and trans red/rosewood) plus one that's been here forever (trans blue/rosewood) plus an actual Strat and - not really being a Strat guy - that's just stupid.

Two of them will be leaving once I figure out which one fits me best, but at this point I haven't played the red or white one enough to know who stays.

Ray's is pretty sweet. The matching headstock is sooo cool. Maybe I should check it out.............

What?

Ha, yep. Oops, should have read that again before posting. Just recalled you were looing for one, no details.

Best of luck on your continued search.

That's a great looking guitar. So was Bubs_42.

Wow, looking for another Daytona. The one I bought from you... the Suhr pickups are nice... the guitar is nice, But what I really like about the guitar is the MannMade Tremolo. I own three other USA Fender Strat's. Two of them have roller nuts (I'm a big fan of the roller nut). All of my Fender Strat's tremolo bridges are blocked and locked down. I would not consider locking down the MannMade Tremolo. It feels great and operates smoother than any other tremolo I've used.

If I ever see a good deal on a two point MannMade Tremolo I'm buying one for one of my Fender's.

I have seen a lot of Daytona's for sale since I've bought this one from you. It should not be that hard to find one.

Yeah, that Mannmade trem is nice! I've never seen a 2-point one for sale, but I was looking at SuperVee Bladerunners and saw that they are the same price as the Mannmade trems nowadays. I would go for the Mannmade every time for that price.
