Brooks Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 Saw them on Moving Pictures 2011 tour. I'm good. Did read a funny article (can't remember where) that Geddy's been running his bass direct into the board and putting household appliances like fridges, washing machines etc out on stage and putting dummy mics on them. Just because people expect to see amps w/ mics on them. yeah, i can't imagine a new tour topping the entire MP album, that was a great show. better for me as i was doing the rush tribute then. plus i'm not paying $80 bucks or whatever for balcony seats like i did last time.
Steve Haynie Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 10 minutes into the regular ticket sales and there are no seats coming up in the front three sections except for one on the last row of a side section. What comes up most are seats more than a football field's length away from the stage, mostly on the outside sections. Those seats in the back are $113 plus fees each. If I have to pay $140 or so to watch a giant video screen I can do that at home with a DVD and not have to spend 45 minutes waiting to get out of a parking lot when it is over. By the way, the Ticketbastard fees go up in price with the ticket prices. There is no difference in the transaction other than seat location. No human's time is used. No extra computer processing is used.
KofSeattle Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 9th Row for the Seattle show!! Cant wait. Rush is one of the only bands I haven't seen live. I always missed them the few times they came to Seattle.

tobereeno Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 I've never had seats good enough that I could see the band without the screens. But I sure could hear them, and they never disappointed, whether it was 1989 or 2012 or any of the shows in between...without the possibility of a meet and greet, I'm just going to get tickets wherever.
TBP Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 I was considering Buffalo or Columbus (both a little under 3 hours away) but it looks like it'd be an fairly pricy evening, so I'm not planning on going. And here the only arena rock show I've been to was for Rush. But I'm glad they can still demand high prices at huge venues instead of getting by with Rocksino gigs.
atomicwash Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 I've never seen RUSH before and we bought some nose bleed seats in Chicago. Hopefully we'll enjoy the ambience.
it's me HHB Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 If you've never seen em go, it is frickin amazing when those 3 crank up
