hikarateboy Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 I'm crowned and bound neck but unbound headstock as I guess I am just a bit more of a traditionalist. However, I did say yes to a quilt overlay for the headstock. Granted mine is trans black with a slight black burst so it will still look more traditional at first glance than someone who is going unbound with 59 burst on the headstock. Not sure how that would look, BUT the top edge of my FM special shows the figuring from the side in a pretty cool way.
