I never did go back to finish this.  I've played the solo off and on while jamming, so I think I see if I can get it right before the end of the year.

It's evident I'm not going to make the deadline. I have too much to learn in Reaper. Hell, I still haven't learned the lyrics to the song. I did learn that knowing the lyrics and not reading them is important to me as I'm somewhat dyslexic. I also noticed that if you move just a bit closer or further away from the mic the output changes drastically. I'm going to have to get some input on how to not do this. 

But, physically, I feel very good finally. Pain from injuries is remarkably low now. I had to take most of the year off from playing because of the pain but in the last few weeks I've been able to do nearly anything I try with the exception of pushups. So the guitar parts are coming along fairly well. I need to experiment and learn more with the mix though. I wanted this to be a complete package. The challenge to me meant to learn all the parts to a song and learn to mix them down into something respectable. This would include vocals that I have never pushed myself to learn how to do. I figured if I was going to embarrass myself I would do it up right. 

So I tap out for now but I'm not finished. I'm going to continue this. I've just run out of time for this one. Hopefully my health will continue to improve and I can get back on this in the spring after I paint another wall on my house. I also have some rotten window sills to replace. Hopefully I won't smash a finger.

Hey no prob ting, it's only fun, glad you are feeling better and I look forward to you releasing whatever it is you are working on.

oy vey. I might have to tap out too. Mostly due to a technical issue. My hard drive shit the bed at the beginning of the month. I thought I'd have some time to find a replace it, but the month got away from me. I did get a used HDD off fleebay, but it turned out to be riddled with bad sectors and wouldn't run Sonar with out crashing.

Anyway, I had all the rhythm guitar and 3/4 of the solo down for Ladies Night In Buffalo. But I kinda peter'ed out after the pc crashed.

So right now I'm revamping my PC. I might subject you nice folks to the end result in the new year. Consider it a stay of execution for your ears. :unsure:
