cmatthes Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Elduave has brought #0004 to several gigs in one of those, and it seems to balance weirdly and not offer a ton of protection. I ended up with a universal/keyboard case (rectangular) that fits both my Ultimate, Standards and my Flying Vees with no problem.
soli'd Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 It would be nice if there was an oversized/offset equivalent of the Mono cases, but really, the Ultimate cases aren't that much bigger than a classic strat case or PRS, etc... maybe 10-15% bigger in length and width? However, compared to a LP or Special/Sunburst/Studio type case, it does feel a good bit bigger. Still, totally worth it.
