Realizing I need a medium to preferred thick neck. It's the right color and who knows, thrown my money away on lesser things I've bought. Guess I'll see how it shakes out. Thanks again. I'd just email Peter and tell him what your looking for. I quit doing that because he always had it. LOL

All of them left better than when I got them, all of them rent through repairs, or I found the correct parts to restore them. We went through a phase here where everyone was throwing money at me and I couldn't resist. I've had them with Big Necks, D Shape Necks, Flat on the back with shouldered sides. I do not remember any of them being Narrow like that 81's and later had. Sent the seller an email. Will see what and if I get a response.

JohnZ Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 My girlfriend would not have been satisfied with that kind of result of a guitar damage. His must have used velvet gloves.

What can I say I'm a child at heart and then some!

The creme pickup was very bright and the zebra pickup was hotter and darker. 5 hours ago, kizanski said: BLASPHEMER!! Occasionally, original '50's Gibsons (including LPs) were like that, supposedly...hotter pickups in the 'rhythm' position than in the 'bridge' position, rather than the other way around. Murkat would know for sure. Edited to add: Josh Gravelin could probably add to that discussion, too.

His must have used velvet gloves. I've emailed the past few days. He confirmed the break is through top, sides, AND back! Prior to his acquiring it. He couldn't tell much about what the neck is doing, and didn't want to bother having it checked. I believe this to be one of the prefinished fretboards that had some problems with neck application vs the dot necks that were able to be planed/fretted while on the neck. Odd screws front/back and the control cover not what I'd expect, as he said it's not black but lighter raw/unfinished metal. But, I'll always be interested as they're my fav'
