Andrew Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 Too much bidding on eBay.de has meant that something has to go. So up for sale is a late 1986 FBII, floyd, OBLs, boomers, ebony etc. None more black sort of look. Great condition other than the usual lacquer checking (details on request), mostly original (OBLs have been put back in since the photo) other than the strap buttons and the back plate for the floyd springs. I will also be replacing the pickup switch . I am asking £700 or 1000euros (plus shipping), so it won't be of interest to USA/Canada at that sort of price, but that's more or less what I paid for one a few years back. E-mail me for details if interested. Andrew. largeat@yahoo.co.uk. 617513.HTM

elduave Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 I had a red one a couple of years back, nice guitars!! Jack. Thanks again for that one Jack. It has found it's final resting place. That Black one is nice! How much in US dollars?
tomteriffic Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Dave, at current rates, about $1,180. If I could tolerate Floyds, I'd be toting my grandmother to the pawn shop for this.
El Kabong Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 I am in love. That is the coolest Hamer I have seen in ages. I wish a didn't just 'waste' another $1400 on a grad school module.
blackfbiv Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 This is gonna sound so lame, but if it didn't have Boomers (so it was a closer match to my black fbiv) I'd be pitching the Mrs.on this one...Of course if you want to trade for my Special Edition CBC - Coronation Street DVD's, I'm in... heheheDoes anyone have an FBII black on black w/ dots?Dionedited to add: are the bodies on the FB II and IV the same size? Sorry if it's a stupid question, but I've only seen 1 in person and didn't think about it at the time I was handling it...D
Rockola Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 See, I find the Boomers match with the Firebird's sloping shoulders. I love it. Wow, just wow.

Andrew Posted February 14, 2006 Author Posted February 14, 2006 Not sure I understand the above post!??Anyway, shipping is expensive across the Atlantic, about £120 ($200) going UK to USA/CAN. I will have to get a quote for Euro-shipping.
