DEMENTED Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 I need to sell some stuff so here we go. Hamer Standard Custom, my custom order from this past year, CHAMBERED BODY, Tobaccoburst, Ultimate 5A top, one pc. mahogany body, bound headstock , inlaid MOP logo, nickel hardware, very vintage looking, light, resonant and gorgeous in person . As new, less than 15 mins of play time on this one! Let's go with $2000 + actual shipping & insurance, List was $4090!!! 1980 Hamer Special, darkburst, original DiMarzios, medium neck and kicks ass, LOTS of player wear, structurally sound. w/ SKB molded case. $615 shipped. 1980's Chandler superstrat, made in San Fransico, red, loaded with some killer DiMarzios, sweet neck, a thinner one but not a shredder like an Ibanez. Light resonant , great player w/ new Levy's gig bag. $300 shipped\ 1978 Marshall JMP Master MK II 50 watt head. Modified and owned by Stevie Salas and used to record his "ColorCode" album amongst other. Now runs KT88's. Has had gain and tone circuit mods, not the prettiest but she rips. I have recently been in email contact with Stevie and he gave me some of the amps history..kinda sounded like he wanted it back too,$750 shipped. Thanks kids and stay tuned for more to possibly come! edited to add that I have since cleaned up the Marshall, those old labels and such.

tafkathundernotes Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 that Standard brings tears to my eyes...afraid if i tried it, i'd sell my PRS to get it... I tried it - and yes, you're right - you'd probably sell something to get it. If'n I was in the market for a guitar at the moment, I'd be all over this bad boy.

DEMENTED Posted February 28, 2006 Author Posted February 28, 2006 Oddly enough, no action on the Standard Custom... avoid the 3 month wait and save some dough. The 2006 list price for the exact same guitar is $4710, grab mine for $2000 shipped, as new, no wait.
chunst Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 I dunno....$2000 is a lot for me.....most of the std's Ive seen on this site go for around $1.500,
BCR Greg Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 Then don't buy it.This guitar is as new, with a killer top and chambered body. WELL WORTH the price. No, he didn't get it from me.No, I have no action in this deal. It's just a great guitar.
DEMENTED Posted March 2, 2006 Author Posted March 2, 2006 I dunno....$2000 is a lot for me.....most of the std's Ive seen on this site go for around $1.500, This is NOT "most Standards" this is a custom order, the extras on this made it much more than a regular Standard, it is as new with only 15 mins or so of play time on it. Just clarifying the reason for the price, I am taking a beating at that.
