Nice top and finish on this one. My black '81 was obtained under similar circumstances, but I found the actual seller on Yahoo Japan and bought it out from under the Ebay broker at half of what they were asking (my price was just North of this one all-in, but it's EC+). Anyway, sweet guitars. Similar to the Robin RV-1s, but with a strat head. The neck on mine is fairly beefy C profile - akin to my EJ Strat, but the Tokai has vintage radius/frets. Tightest neck pocket I've ever encountered. Fit/finish is amazing, and the original pickup sounds mighty fine. Half tempted to snag this and slap a flatter radius neck w/jumbos on it, but need it like a hole in the head. Thought someone here might dig it!

They mobilize like this to confront me on my patio if/when I'm neglecting them and spending too much time with the Hamers (seems that I might have a thing for maple boards)
