Scottcrud Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 I had a V-220 just like that but it had a Kahler trem, geez, that was back in 1991!

Submariner85 Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 I was thinking, thank God that SS has a Floyd or I might be tempted to go after it.

"Not a good sign.Have at it guys, see if it happens. lolSome buyers don't/won't use PayPal. It takes 30 days to cash a check from a US buyer. Canadian banks hold the check for 30 days, there is no way around it. There are fees associated with cashing money orders at Money Mart, including flat fees and/or exchange rate rape. Most buyers don't want to pay the fees. Most sellers don't want to wait 30 days. Thanks
kizanski Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you're an asshole.
BCR Greg Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Since you mention it, you posted the still available comment BEFORE you offered to take cash, and WHILE I was typing that I would send you cash.LOLThanks.

Jeff R Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 If you're just here at this forum strictly to move a Hamer guitar however you can (I'm looking at your post count), so be it, it's a free country and people can do as they wish ...But you're not making yourself look that credible showing up here and posting on open classifieds, while you put the guitar up on an auction site that considers the service they provide as a two-way business deal benefitting both parties.Just a heads up...your credibility simply doesn't look that peachy right now.
rs77345 Posted March 13, 2006 Author Posted March 13, 2006 Since you mention it, you posted the still available comment BEFORE you offered to take cash, and WHILE I was typing that I would send you cash.LOLThanks. That is correct, but I had marked it as sold immediately after seeing your post, then marked it as still available -after- the 1st time you passed on it. I didn't list it on ebay until you passed on it the 1st time. You're suggesting dishonesty, and that isn't fair. Thanks
rs77345 Posted March 13, 2006 Author Posted March 13, 2006 "your credibility simply doesn't look that peachy right now."Indeed.

sw686blue Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 If someone really wants this, let me know. I have a brother in Toronto who can pick it up. E-mail me at sifakis AT ca DOT ibm DOT com. If I know you, you can pay through money order instead of Paypal.Note: I do not know the owner of this guitar and neither have I ever seen it. Buyer beware as usual.
BCR Greg Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Thanks, Nick, very nice gesture from a good man. I would have taken you up on this if the seller was a man of character, but he seems to just BE a character.lolthanks
rs77345 Posted March 13, 2006 Author Posted March 13, 2006 Buyer beware? Character? The thing is, you guys don't know me, and my post count is low, so you automatically assume the worst. Have you seen my ebay feedback? Have you talked to Hamer Board members I've done business with? Probably not. Thanks
sw686blue Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Greg, thank you for the nice words.Offer stands for the other guys who may be interested.
