earachemyeye Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Got this from the Badger a lttle less than a year ago. Probably still has some of his "mojo" . It came to me in immaculate condition has aquired only some very light playing wear. There are only two dings on the whole guitar. One is near the jack and is the size of a pin head (if that). The other is on the back and is slightly larger. Neither of them is significant enough to show up in a photo. There is some slight fret wear in the cowboy chord area. No buckle rash, worming, ect... This is a custom order guitar with a special order color, 10 victory inlays, Ultimate quilt top, bound headstock, and inlayed logo. It also has a tone pros bridge. G.A.S has me on the move for something else. The pickups are Duncan Custom Custom bridge and 59 neck. $1800 shipped to lower 48. If some one has a REALLY NICE three hole duotone, ( I missed that black one dammit!) I might be interested in a trade + cash. Case included, it's minty. Email for questions and pics. THANKS!
BruceM Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Wow, I have NEVER seen a bad picture of this guitar. And it sounds awesome every time it shows up at the 4-3-2-1. Missed you, and this guitar, last weekend, Joe.
BruceM Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Yup, this one has some 4-3-2-1 history. Man, you could swim in that thing!
atquinn Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 A Studio Custom isn't on my radar right now, but I was wondering, is that an ebony fretboard?-Austin
earachemyeye Posted March 28, 2006 Author Posted March 28, 2006 Thanks Bruce!... Yes the fretboard is ebony.Joe
kizanski Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 tHANKS bRUCE!... yES THE FRETBOARD IS EBONY.jOE ...AND THE CAPS LOCK IS ON!!
tomteriffic Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 That is SICK!!! Uh-huh, yup, uh-huh it is.The figure on that top looks like a giant version of the 'hammer-tone' paint they used to do old electronics transmitters and stuff in. But hammer-tone never looked that good.
HamerHokie Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 Against all odds - tell me it has a sound chamber....
earachemyeye Posted March 29, 2006 Author Posted March 29, 2006 Sorry, no chamber but feels lighter than most Studios I've handled. My fish scale says it's around 8lbs... This is starting to get harder to do this. BTW, Dave's pic is a very good representation of the color on average. Mine were taken in bright sunlight with a cheap ass camera but it does seem to change it's hue from different angles. Joe
earachemyeye Posted April 1, 2006 Author Posted April 1, 2006 I'll give it one more week. Sure would like to hear an offer of cash and a duotone. $1700.00 shipped. As low as I'll go.
earachemyeye Posted April 6, 2006 Author Posted April 6, 2006 One last shameless bump. Thankyou to those who have expressed interest so far.Joe
