It’s been awhile since I’ve bought anything for myself, but this popped up on TGP for the going-rate price in Very Good condition AND the seller wanted one of my small amps in trade, so it worked out!

My all time fave finish on a Hamer and dot inlays for a perfect, moderately bling-y look. Currently has Rio Grande BBQ and Texas pickups - they suit it well.

Neck will require some getting used to on my part as I’m a 90s thin-neck-Hamer/Gibson 60s slim guy and this is definitely more of a ‘59 carve, but is very comfortable - just not what I’m used to.

Congrats on the score!  I had an old ‘95 Special FM in Aztec Gold that was your Studio’s flat topped twin. Tried a Rio BBQ/Texas set in it and they were definitely an upgrade over stock.

That looks just like my 2006: yours has the pickup config I want (mine has chrome-covered pickups)...

I had a BBQ bucker, and I can't remember the other one, in a studio custom a had a long time ago, - it was whatever was commonly paired from them around 20 years ago.  I remember I really liked the Rio Grandes in that guitar.

Very nice, congrats!

I get you regarding the neck in contrast to some earlier models.  My 2004 Artist’s neck is much beefier than my 93 Special.  Fortunately both work for me!
