She WROTE.

ON the guitars.  Both of them.  Both guitars.  She took a paint pen and wrote on the guitars.  

Right there on the face of each guitar she took a paint pen and wrote directly ON the guitars. 

 

I watched in horror.

Me, too!  If you are going to write on the guitar, at least, please, PLEASE, write it on the back.  Better still, why not use a Post-It note?
