Now that I look at the fretboard, I also believe it might be an import. I don't recall ever seeing rosewood with Boomers. Weren't they always ebony? Plus, a bound fretboard is pretty rare in itself (for USA models, not imports).

It is 100% without a doubt an import. The import boomers are shaped and placed differently than the USA ones.

The phrase "plays beautifully when set up and is being sold at a great bargain" would concern me if I was an interested buyer (I'm not).

Neat idea for a graphic, but not a very good likeness, really.

Yea, that's not Robot's best side. All of his glamour shots show the other profile.

Personally, I'd have preferred a shy nude of Judy Robinson to be painted on my Californian. But hey, if you're more into The Robot ....

Lost in Space scared me as a child.

The guitar looks pretty cool, though.

The first few black and white episodes had some scary moments for sure... then it got 'family'... then it got silly... then it got worse. Lost in Space is the only TV show to never be cancelled. The actors refused to come back for the 4th season. (so I've read).

What about shows like Seinfeld and Friends where they just decided to quit while still "on top"? They weren't canceled, were they?

Bill Mumy got into music after his "Danger, Will Robinson!" days. He was on the song "Fish Heads" by Barnes and Barnes that Dr. Demento played alla time. After he got back into sci-fi on "Babylon 5" (what was the name of the race/species he belonged to? I've forgotten), it was suggested that an interview w/ him should be titled "From 'Fish Heads' to Boneheads"...I had the hots for Judy, too.

IIRC, when Gemini 8 with Neil Armstrong and David Scott got into trouble in 1966---after docking w/ an Agena rocket, both spacecraft started tumbling out of control and the flight was aborted after just a few orbits---CBS broke into network programming w/ coverage, and a buncha viewers phoned in protests on accounta it was in the middle of "Lost in Space". Jeezus.

'Course, the current female astronaut saga RE the assault on a romantic rival has been dubbed "Lust in Space" just as (apparently bogus) reports RE astronauts being drunk was dubbed "Three martini launch".......

I hd a picture of Penny on my wall. I used to stare at it every night. Sometimes two or three times a night.
