paults Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 The one I had was 25 1/2" scale. That's a LOT of guitar for that price- you could have someone restore it,and still have it for under market price. Although, its probably fatter-sounding without the floyd The one I had was 25 1/2" scale. peedenmark7 Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 I wish I had kept paults chap... that guitar was fantastic ! miss 'er dearly and from what I hear, its now in europe so PM sent... maybe a resurrection this easter.
cmatthes Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 I can see that one with a re-lammed top and a sustainblock.
BubbaVO Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 I can see that one with a re-lammed top and a sustainblock.I like that "relic'd" top. But the sustainblock would be cool. Then again, you could route it out and put in an ABM trem in there.
serial Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 I can see that one with a re-lammed top and a sustainblock. Now that's just spooky-I was thinking the same thing. Scale was 24.5" until 87 IIRC. This one has a bound ebony board with a non-standard headstock. Rare in itself.
ecnal Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 Someone should pick this up and see what Roy at RS Guitarworks can do with it; either put it back original or make it a custom job.
ericnpeterson Posted April 9, 2009 Author Posted April 9, 2009 Thanks for all the kind words. It is a 25.5 scale length. And I think it is sold I am just awaiting payment. She is definitely rare, I hope her new owner makes better use of her than I have.
