  5. oh MY! Billy, Billy. Thank goodness that you were able to hve a good prognosis. My first thought was of the HAND!! IMHO, that would've been worse, way worse. and after all the prostate storys, I thought you had already seen the worst.
  6. after moving to MN in the early 80s, and living though the 80s (albeit..barely), I have become a fan. my roomys wife was one of his personal assistants during his PURPLE RAIN era. He was quite dominant. And actually, who could have ever pulled off that epic superbowl moment playing PR in the rain. No event coordinator in the world could have dreamed of that. LGBTI? what does it matter, and who will ever know for sure.
  7. tell jimmy page that too.
  8. done 3 musicals with Digitech GNX4 and a powered wedge.
  9. goodbye from MiNnEsOta. The band is hidden away at the 4 3 2 1 club.
  10. i have relegated VanHalen to achive status. It totally reminds me constantly of the best of times growing up. They were at the top during my high school years. I enjoy the new disk, because it sounds like VH blueprint of old. But buy a ticket? I would only be disappointed. I would rather they cancel and regroup then end the tour with a bunch of burned out dates
  11. ..when they were good, they were very, very good. And when they were bad they were: H O R R I D
  12. wow. think about that legacy. Is that cool or what??
  13. guess I know where that one will be hangin out...

  16. stupid as this sounds, Grohl reminds me of me...or at least me younger. My daughter and I went to see the last Foo tour and it was a total moment for both of us. I'm a fanboi.
  17. "and in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make"
  18. fan forever, man memories of great times.
  19. meedly, meedly....where Paults??
  20. after 1998I defered to the "not a chance" answer. Before then, I thought I was pretty normal. Problem is, I had no guitar gear "mentor", so I had to figure out alot of things on my own. Hence, the all over the map answer for my early years. I remember being the most excited about: My first Fender deluxe reverb (cuz i finally grew out of the traning bra epiphone beginner amp) 1075 the SUNN BETA LEAD it was a new concept the the sales guy ran it in stereo in like 1977/78. It was a heavy sound that gave me wood. the ROCKMAN XPR preamp. 1985 or so. wow, all the guitar sounds with the touch of a midi foot controller. I actually played the most gigs of my life with that rig. Proabably about 100
  21. 1972-1980: grade school/jr high -epiphone 10w 1x10 (everyone has a first lay) 2-fender deluxe reverb (too clean) 3-orange (too clean) 4-ampeg V4/4x12 (not dirty enough) 5-peavey deuce+ 2x12 (everyone has a peavey sooner or later) 6-SUNN Beta Lead (definitely dirty enuf) post high school: 7a- Sunn Concert Lead 7b-Fender Blonde bassman 8-Marshall SS 2x12 combo 9-Rockman XPR mid-90s internet era starts... gets crazy after that -Fender prosonic 2x12 - this is a pretty acurate start, I'll have to think and edit after that. Its starting to feel like a list of all the women you've........dated.
