Someone just dropped a box of converters in my office. My question is what is the minimum milliamps required for boss/ibanez boxes? I've see one 9volt showing 210mA output. S.

Most Pretentious Albums of All Time

I haven't heard it... but if Allan Holdworth says "I wish I didn't play on it", that's all I need to hear. -
We're on the same page. The old non 'vee' headstock. That's what I referenced as 3+3 (or is it 3x3?) S.
-
Interesting. I didn't think Hamer would say no. Vector 3+3 headstock doesn't look out of place to me unless you live and breathe metal. Even then.... For a bunch of folks here that consider 3+3 to be a dealbreaker, repeat after me: "More Mick Ralphs, less Mick Mars" What would Wyldbil do? S. p.s>that veneer Blitz that BCR had was sweet. Somebody got a pix of that?

From the '70s, Chicago backing Al Green. Terry Kath's guitar skills were so fricken broad. What a pro...

The First Tone That Made You Say... "Whoa!"

LZ - Heartbreak was a pretty heavy memory, but the first would be when I bought La Grange on 45. After about 4 repeats, I flipped it over and played Just Got Paid. That was my first 'whoa', first air guitar and the first time a parent knocked on the door asking me to turn it down. Jackpot! S. -
I hope they don't get free security from Hell's Angels.

Me too! That KC performance and Midnight Oil on Thicke of the Night stand out greater than anything i've seen on SNL. I bought the first used JC-120 I could find and started making noise. I've got MP3s of the KC performance but they're on a dying drive that I disconnected before it totally conced out. I shared it with Brooks, I think... I do have a VHS of the Midnight Oil show somewhere that I will eventually convert. I remember Peter singing with shredded newspaper on the floor during Read About It then lighting the one in his hand. After the spoken word, he drops it and and all the shit starts to burn. Here come the prop guys to snuff it out while Peter does his wildman jig. Kickass.

woah sorry for the size.

I certainly haven't seen them all, but one of my best has to be The Replacements. In their peak just before Bob lost it. Probably drunk and still mischevious, you could almost lip read "WTF is up with Bob?" after Bob tossed his Les Paul. Great and sad at the same time. Keith Richards w/ Expensive Winos were memorable. Keith's amp bleeding thru the mix. Drayton and Jordon swapped bass & drum duties. I could hardly hear Waddy. The Cowboy Junkies were sublime and smooth and, believe it or not, Terence Trent D'Arby was very good. Noticable flubs ~ 10,000 Maniac bassist total missed going back to a verse. Fuc|<ed it really bad. Also, The Bangles had a guest key player for "Hazy" (I'm thinking it was David Kayne living a fantasy) totally screwed one of the 2 second fills he had to perform. Toast! I haven't seen many episodes since 2000....I'm may be fortunate. I always managed to catch, say, Bobby McFerrin and miss Midnight Oil I have a higher recollection of King Crimson being on Fridays!
