  1. hmmm... Nightwolf had to stop live performances. Belgian lives in the land of the rising 4 digits. A few simple P-90 Duotone threads. What about you?
  2. Ah yes, that was a cool mod. I would love to see a shot of that Black phantom again. thanks, S.
  3. What?! No Boobiecaster? pfftttt.
  4. He shoots and SCORES! 2pts
  5. "Don't get all Nightwolf on us"
  6. Nah...only if you read them. But it's like a car wreck. I HAVE to turn my head to watch the deal go down. Lets just call it 'David Bowie syndrome' Don't forget about opinions of Rio Grande pick-ups
  7. Alot of laughs. Advice on coffee makers, etc.......... no, really. If guitar accessories count, A checkerboard strap from GusS, gratis. He labeled the package contents for Customs as "STRAP ON" What a stud... Phoenix for the Dunlop buttons. Damn little things put a smile on my face after a lousy day. Still waiting for porno DVDs
  8. What?! No Clapton-esque Afro? dang, S.
  9. Considered an older Guild?
  10. Geez... I swear I had no idea. I just did a check on Dexter and, lo and behold, Jack White is the quoted artist on his labels website. Somebody tell my wife that I'm a genius S.
  11. It's interesting but doesn't 'sink the hook' for me....yet. And by yet, I mean influenced a purchase. Personally, I think Dexter Romweber has more talent in his toejam that Jack but, just like W-S, either you get it or you don't. Next topic, BJORK S.
  12. Willie Nelson Billy Gibbons Paul McCartney Did Seka Sing? S.
  13. My deepest sympathies. regards, Steve
  14. You just listed half of our local ClearChannel (WRFX ~ the Fox) playlist. They must have a 'play Gimme Three Steps twice a day' policy.....probably masterbated when The Black Crowes hit the scene. Finally, they had something from the 1990 to play. And WRDU is stuck in 1979. When we were in the area for Christmas, I think the newest song they played was from 1982. It's as if I never left NCSU. Still, it's better than Charlotte and they get props for that killer bell choir version of Bohemian Rhapsody. Every local Charlotte radio station is just torpid. S.
  15. The Fine Young Cannibals ~ "She Drives Me Crazy" pinches a nerve.
  16. Just when I think I've seen Hamer's possible body & hardware combination, something else cool strolls into the website. Any Sustain Block Standards? C'mon....blow my mind. The stop bridge is a nice looking piece of work, too S.
  17. Me likey. I dig Phantom Customs, TLEs and Mirages. Is that weird? treehundirtandfitty! Steve
  18. same here.... I don't know how I missed this earlier. I'm relieved to hear the good news. S.
  19. "Drop your shorts and bend over, Mr. Babar"
  20. Skid Roper?
  21. Supagroup swings hard like a certain Aussie band. No Steely Dan chops here.... just two guitars, bass and drums. The site has a jukebox....give 'em a looksee. edit> They briefly reference "Road House" on the front page of the Tour Diary. That's a plus in my book.
  22. Well said, Nathan. Guys, try not to sound like a jilted ex-boyfriend. Consider that they might they might be too damn busy..... slammed trying to fill product to rejected Gibs*n dealers. Sure, there is the expense/hassle factor but I just chalked it up to growing pains. The eye candy on the webpage might be stale to the regulars but not to recently initiated. The word is out and every year Hamer is less and less under the radar. regards, S.
  23. Or endorses Hamer S.
  24. Doh! How could I forget Costello's SHIPBUILDING? That song is still haunting/beautiful.
  25. Right. I like knucklehead stuff as much as the next guy. Certainly some silly pop and deciphering jazz but certainly some political songs are worthy of working on both levels. CCR's Fortunate Son, for one. A group like Midnight Oil (who could hit as hard as anyone) brought an Aussie perspective of being bystanders in a nuclear buildup. They wrote powerful tunes that could make you think and move your ass. The Meters~Under The Weather and The Police's ~ Driven To Tears are as relevant today as when the were released. For some, there is nothing wrong with being stimilated to think or reminded to show some tolerance or compassion if you like the way a song swings. Next Question. Why is this not in the OC? And finally, why do people buy a 4X4 and never take it off road?
