  1. I saw that AC/DC UFO tour myself. I still have vivid memories of it after all these years. They just don't make them like they use to.
  2. Aw krap. I got a bald spot too. Does it mean I am too old to rock ??
  3. I had there first cd because of all of the good buzz. I thought it was horrible, the worst vocals around. Guitars were pretty good but the vocals just killed it for me.
  4. Thoughts and prayers sent.
  5. Pretty much anything Rush has done after the first Album. That first one was killer. After that, they pretty much lost me and their rock vibe.
  6. You mean to tell me there are chords other than bar chords ??????
  7. An 81 Special that I still have. It ain't going anywhere.
  8. I like Jet and the guitars from the Darkness are good, but the vocals suck. Silvertide is pretty good and so is Velvet Revolver but one of the origional bad boys of 70's rock is still kicking and kicking hard. Alice Coopers new Dirty Diamonds is out and has that feel to it, but he can be a strange ranger on some songs but they are hysterically twisted.
  9. I don't know the name of the song but the cd is put out by Morgan Creek records. Most of the music is composed by Trevor Jones. Randy Edleman also contributes. Great guy movie and I have had the cd for years. If you can't find the soundtrack anymore, email me and I will send you mine.
  10. Aerosmith is the American version of the Stones. That said, since MTV fell in love with them, they pretty much don't do anything for me anymore. Skynard has stayed true to their roots and are more intersting to me. Still, if I want to see a great American rock band I will take Alice Cooper or Ted Nugent any day. Both still have the passion and energy and follow their own path.
  11. Ditto on the drumming of Eric Singer. A rock solid player. You can see him every year on the road because he has been Alice Coopers drummer for about the past 8 years. He is something to see live.
  12. Status Qou are a pretty damn good boogie rock band and they are real big in Europe. They had one hit in the US in the 70's and then US radio forgot about them. I have a greatest hit cd that is actually good. Has about 15 songs on it and I enjoy it. I think the cover has them playing Tele's. For a harder edge I still prefer Foghat when it comes to that British Blues Boggie thing.
  13. Ted rocks, no doubt about it. Still has it, almost like time has stood still for him. I saw him about a 18 months. Played a killer set. Just when you think it can't get any better, out comes the headliner, Alice Cooper. Man, what a night that was. Rock an roll was alive that night. Ted was using Peavey 5150 when I saw him.
