  1. Just wanted to give an update on my shipping tales. I have been shipping a ton of stuff in the last couple of months... amps, guitars, pedals etc. I am still getting by far the best rates with Pirate Ship. 2nd is Paypal Shipping which is usually about the same. Reverb shipping is easy and they do offer simple protection if you are worries about shipping something. But, as you know me: MOBW (Master of Bubble Wrap) I over pack everything. One thing to note, I've been hit twice with extra fees from Pirate Ship after the item arrives. It turns out it my my mistake. You have to be EXTRA careful with your dimensions and weight. I had a box that was very slightly protruding out in the middle and they figure that into the size. I just measured it at the top. So, after that, I always triple-check my measurements and weight (I even bought a new scale that is super-accurate) No more issues! Carry on my friends! ernie

  3. PRICE DROP! Joe Bonamassa '64 Greenburst Strat Pickup Set by Seymour Duncan (Signed) I am the original owner. Only installed once in a Strat I have and played in my non-smoking home. Never gigged. They sound excellent and work perfectly. They rock nicely with an extra bit of punch to them. Full length leads, not cut. Comes with everything: Signed certificate, pickups, covers, 3 cloth bags, all screws & rubber grommets. Everything that they originally came with. $250 shipped and PP F&F Message me with any questions. Thx, Ernie -------------------------------------------- Info from Bonamassa website: Pre-CBS Fender Stratocasters® have long held the mystique and imagination of Fender’s biggest fans. By early 1964, Fender had started to build their Strat® pickups with gray flatwork, and these gray bottom pickups were known for a notably punchy sound and higher output. Finding a pre-CBS Strat® with these rare pickups can be a challenge. However, as Joe Bonamassa discovered, sometimes looking beyond a guitar’s originality can lead to uncovering a truly exceptional example. Joe’s 1964 Stratocaster® started its life with a three-tone sunburst finish and stock gray-bottom pickups, but was refinished with a unique “Greenburst”, which instantly captivated Joe. With the powerful sounding pickups, great playability, and striking look, Joe knew it was “an instant star”. Lucky for guitar players everywhere, Joe Bonamassa has once again collaborated with the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop to offer the magic sound of one of his favorite instruments through a new set of signature gray bottom Strat® pickups. The Joe Bonamassa “Greenburst” Stratocaster® Set is made with period-correct wiring and staggered alnico 5 magnets. The gray bottom flatwork is pad printed with Joe’s signature, and the first 500 sets include limited edition packaging and a certificate of authenticity signed by Joe and Seymour W. Duncan. Fans of Joe Bonamassa have seen the Greenburst Strat® light up the stage on tour with Joe, and now the powerful sound of “the coolest, most hideous guitar” in Joe’s collection can be attained in a Strat® of your own. Features: Magnets Neck - Alnico 5 Middle - Alnico 5 Bridge - Alnico 5 DC Resistance Neck - 6.61k Middle - 5.86 Bridge - 5.86k Cable Type Waxed Cotton

  5. Had to laugh at this. 'Pure' Hemp guitar cables! haha. I guess after they fail, you can smoke them.
  6. Scott at RS said he's open to offers if any of you all are interested.
  7. Maybe Bonamassa will buy it to go with the Gary Moore Soldano amp he just bought.
  8. Here's one I bet you haven't seen before!! A wacky, 18-watter by TomasZewichZ amps. It had way too many flippin' preamp/gain/master knobs. Actually sounded great, but trying to remember where you set the knobs was silly.
  9. I just checked and the actual specs on this one are .845 @ 1st / .920 @ 12th
  10. SOLD!! Soldano 'Astro' 20 watt 3-channel amplifier Amazing sounding amplifier. Near-mint condition, not a scratch, ding or mark on it. Works perfectly, sounds huge. Kept in non-smoking home. All original condition. Comes with its original 4-button lighted foot-switch and power cable. It has 3 channels with 4 Galaxies. Channel 1 is the dedicated clean channel with only the ‘Green Galaxy’. The custom shop built guitars are overall, just a better class of quality. Better woods and better attention to detail. The 339 has a slightly smaller body size vs. a 335, but keeps that same ES vibe. 100% original. Nothing modded or changed. Low action and no neck issues. 14. Two left. The tuner is nice, but the Vibe pedal is the bomb. I've a bunch of Univibe clones and this one was the best of all-of-'em.
  15. My guitar teacher back in the 70's cut his 50's Blackguard tele into a double-cutaway. I cried when I saw that.
  16. Prices keep dropping. Soon, they'll be free. haha.
