  1. My experience. The books came into the US in Atlanta. All three boxes were the same size almost exact weight on the same day. One valued at 500 euros and the other two about 400 euro each. Only one was trapped by US Customs. Then again maybe staffing was shorthanded due to government shutdown. Who knows. If the tariffs get thrown out, maybe I’ll get the money back - - in 2030.
  2. Curious. How will it be shipped and are there tariff concerns? Last week DHL delivered to me three boxes of textbooks from a university in Europe. Two were delivered tariff free. A third box, valued at about $560, would not be delivered without payment of $70 in duties. Textbooks are supposed to be exempt. The seller was outraged. Since India is on the doo-doo list, what have you been told?

  8. Anybody ever use one of these? Supposedly a Hi Watt in a box platform. Interested in the latest one that has the Post function which adds some tape echo, a la Live at Leeds. I have two tweed type amps. Not exactly Live at Leeds but I do have an SG Classic with p90s. Or other thoughts? Thanks https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/WIIO--catalinbread-wiio-overdrive-reissue-pedal
  9. Very nice Aztek Gold!!! And and FM Perfect combo How ae you bonding with it? Enjoy.
  10. Didn't he buy Ringo's kit for $500 000?
  11. Saw him at the Cleveland Agora in 1978 when he released the solo album. For some reason I keep thinking it was reviewed by - - the Wall Street Journal. Damn, if I put together a personal top 10 concerts list, that would probably survive the cut. The power of that band was off the charts. Would anyone know who was in the band back then? BTW the elpee got wavied in the back seat of my car. Never replaced it. The Wild, the Innocent and The E Street Shuffle suffered the same fate a couple years earlier. RIP. Thanks for the experience and memories.
  12. Anybody else catch them in Chicago on Halloween 1969 at Aaron Russo’s Kinetic Playground? Liverpool Scene (?) opened. The Kinks followed with their opera Arthur (dedicated to The Who) and then reprised their other great stuff. I was/am a huge Kinks fan. The Who followed and in turn dedicated Tommy to The Kinks. The Who’s “encore” was essentially Live at Leeds but four months BEFORE Leeds. Mind you all of this was ten weeks after Woodstock. I knew the storm was gathering when Keith’s kit was nailed to the floor or riser (can’t remember which). Those were the days. And all for $5.
  13. i also have the Jon Herington (Steely Dan sideman) T Pro.  Check the board for history, links etc I posted.

I also have the Greg Vorobiov Tally. A couple of videos wher he demnstared some amps (Crema Wheta?)

Also check The Designer's Work sjop blog (Jol Dantzig) for build history on both.

Not sure if they would interest you and I am not sure I really want to sell.  But check 'em out on the web.

  17. Artistry at its finest. It must be hard to turn these loose when completed.
  18. Just curious and perhaps somebody has asked already. In the good old days, Hamer used to tout a 14-coat process which was dissed by the thin-skin school. Anybody know where the Shiskovs are coming out on this? Has anybody asked for fewer coats?
  19. The sawdust. How many customers ask for the sawdust.
