  1. He stacked 'em (the doublewides).
  2. Friggin' Awsome! Congrats
  3. I would almost consider it BUT the first thing I would have to do is pay for a refret to get rid of those tiny frets. Damn shame!
  4. Love these guys. Saw them at the Trubadour back in the early 90s. There was about 20 people there and they ROCKED. Some of my favorite all time guitar tones. Here's the full album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehki4m1lq9w
  5. Morris, How'd the gig go? I Couldn't get there. We rehearsed til 9:30 and then had to load equipment for our gig tonight. I'll catch you at the next one. Keep me updated.
  6. Morris, Gonna try my damndest to get there. It's gonna be tight with Friday night rehearsal for us.
  7. Lou Reed said this was the best version of Sweet Jane that he'd ever heard. I agree: Edit: The Rock & Roll Animal version is killer also.
  8. Morris, Keep me posted on your upcoming gigs. Maybe I can make it out to one.
  9. After a 13 year hiatus I have joined a band and am out gigging again. We play around the Madsion WI area. Of course I'll be playing my Hamer Artist all night long. 10. Bejeebus! I wish I had seen that ad earlier.
  11. I've played a few large stage gigs and the thing that I enjoyed was getting to turn my amp up. I played a festival once and had my MusicMan HD130 (130 watts) cranked. The amp was far away from me and when I was up at the front of the stage I could hear my guitar coming out of the PA speakers more than I could hear it from the amp. Have a GREAT time!
  12. Consider trading for this uncooked piece of fish? All original except for a little bit of salt sprinkled on it.
  13. Is he making money? Does anyone know his arrangement with the business end of things? Most of their royalties come from the albums he didn't play on, with songs he didn't write. The Stones didn't make Ron Wood a 'full member,' money-wise, for 17 years. While their royalties come from songs they still make a good amount of money from concerts. I'm sure Vivian is a hired gun but the paycheck is probably pretty darned good.
  14. Here he is with his Les Paul & Marshalls - I personally think his tone wasn't as good after the first album. And Vinnie Appice is one of my all time favorite rock drummers.
  15. IIRC Vivian used a Les Paul Standard & a JCM800 for Rainbow in the Dark & the whole first album.
