  1. Cool, it should. It works great. I just want a chrome one to match the tuners.
  2. Looking for a 80s Hamer Slammer Dimarzio to go in a Scepter. also, a chrome original Floyd Rose tremelo in fairly clean condition.
  3. AND put the extra long headstock & crowns back! If they did that, I'd order at least two more. All eras are great for Hamer Standards.
  4. My bass player is a lefty. I wish he'd get that FBIV.
  5. I ordered the old style jacks on my '08 Yin & Yang Standards. I did that to my V too but on the opposite wing, I hate topmount output jacks. I hate that too.
  6. It was probably the one I passed on for $600. That still haunts me. Yeah, I'd like to see that pic. Whoa! my cat just strummed my guitar! VERY LOUD TOO! It's on the floor. That scared the shit out of me! He must like it too.
  7. This one is a player & I'm playing it right now. 4 digit goodness! #0521 (1981) - This one has some BALLS... very thick sound! The seller can chime in if they want to. Sorry for my poor pics.
  8. Now this, I want to see! To keep this thread going, here are a few. The forked headstock sunburst.....Don't you just love it when Hamer decides to put a wicked twist on things. For the Electraglide fans. Plain and simple and kickass good looking. I honestly don't think you can make a more perfect headstock than this one-long explorer headstock that is bound, come on. Here is another fun one, made for Tommy Shaw, flip a switch and "listen carefully, aaaaaahhhhhhh, you can go grab a bite and it's still sustaining that note.....aaaahhhhhhh"). For the Sunburst fan, when you need that quick 12 string and BearClaw Spruce is your flavor over a maple top. When Crowns just won't do for an over-the-top guitar you have to go with boomers. (actually I believe our own Bob P. did some of the actual work on this guitar, another killer idea made for Bill Kaman). The new stuff is pretty damn good, but for us 'old folks around here, they were making some pretty nice guitars back in the 70-80's. (another one of those "factory seconds" with crown inlays but they forgot to bind the neck... ) Enjoy, Sunbursts rule or at least come in a nice second to the old standards!!! Hats off to geniuses at Hamer!!!! Peter. We don't need another Hamer open house tour, we need Peter F. open house! Damn Pete!
  9. Kiss Queen Cheap Trick The Beatles
  10. That ain't a Phantom. It's one of those whacked-out Guilds from the era. Now excuse me while I turn a pistol on myself for knowing so much about a Springsteen video. The one I recall was white or pearl and I dont' think it was Glory Days, but it WAS a long time ago. Yeah, it was a Phantom in Glory Days.
  11. Have a great one Greg.
  12. I like the bass parts. Cool note choices on the first song.
  13. For Mitch I'll personally deliver it too! He has tons of guitars, he really might want it. I live less than a mile from him.
  14. That's how the old Sunbursts were with Sustain Block trems as well.
