The Shark Posted August 9, 2024 Posted August 9, 2024 This is a Robin E-Type that I got from the man formerly known as BCR Greg. It's light. The neck is big (think '56 Strat) and flamed. The Dirty Harry pickup is nearly a P-90. Guitar is nearly perfect in every respect. I can get more pics this weekend. Shoot me your cell and I'll text them. Production numbers on these is very low. It's $2,000 shipped in the lower 48. First pic might be with the next guitar that will go up on the block. But the time-frame isn't soon. If the guitar sells, I have to buy Greg some coffee from Kawai for using his pics. Thanks.
The Shark Posted August 9, 2024 Author Posted August 9, 2024 I think there were eight... Kizanski has corrected me below. Just a half-dozen of 'em.

bry4321 Posted August 9, 2024 Posted August 9, 2024 I was going to make a jerky "E is for Telecaster?" comment but I figured it out in the nick of time. Beautiful guitars!

kizanski Posted August 9, 2024 Posted August 9, 2024 Since he bought this, all of the other Standards are running scared. And rightfully so.

The Shark Posted October 23, 2024 Author Posted October 23, 2024 To answer an interested party, it weighs 7.4lbs...the ash on this thing is incredible.
Winter Posted October 25, 2024 Posted October 25, 2024 Lovely E-type, Shark. I've been mulling over a Rahbek E-type for the last couple of weeks. Now you've got me thinking... which is a rare and uncharacteristic thing for me to be doing when it comes to cool axes.
