DaveL Posted August 23, 2024 Posted August 23, 2024 lame pic of course.... but what is this? the headstock shape looks a little off, is this a repurposed Greco or something? Used Hamer 1982 STANDARD Solid Body Electric Guitar Black | Guitar Center
analogsystem Posted August 23, 2024 Posted August 23, 2024 GC's used photos are so bad it almost seems like someone is playing a joke. When you click the zoom in button the pic actually gets smaller!
Steve Haynie Posted August 23, 2024 Posted August 23, 2024 It looks like the image is distorted. There are a lot of digital photos that have weird perspective.

I noticed that too, especially how the headstock looks larger that it should and out of proportion with the rest of the guitar.
Cboss Posted August 23, 2024 Posted August 23, 2024 Pretty sure the '80s standards did not have a pickguard
Ham Rex Posted August 24, 2024 Posted August 24, 2024 Looks like a PAF that may have been returned? I remember a black standard being mentioned but was sold before I looked at the picture. Same with the Maestro. Was sold before I could see it. My PAF from GC is on delay. According to the UPS, the store was closed at 12:49 today to accept delivery. Please send prayers that it wasn't stolen or damaged. Thx HFC! HR

He kept the inscription plate from what I understand. Maybe someday he'll send it along. I loved the Checkered Vee but was out of my price range.
