A6A76kk.jpg Just saw this For Sale over at The Gear Page. I have no affiliation to the guitar or the seller, just posting for anyone who might be interested. No idea if that is a good price or the rarity of the color.

1981 Hamer Prototype...killer classic in a very rare color!

Here are some specs:
8.4 pounds, Neck depth is .82 at the first fret, .86 at the 12th fret. Humbucker reads 8.20k, Single coil reads 4.25k

Many more pix on request image.gif.414a2178828087f630f4dad850eb1989.gif

These early USA Hamer guitars are just killer rock machines!

$2,100 shipped (USA only)
PP F+F or buyer pays the PP fee

This guitar will ship in an almost new Gator gig bag.

Agreed, but I love that color.

The black one at Dave's seems a better deal. I am still struggling with leaving that one alone.

Both are 8.4 lbs. Is that what they typically weighed? Seems on the heavy side of what I'd expect.

Cool axe but $2100 for a Prototype w no hard case?? Ouchie, looks cool though...

Yeah   No clue on this one................not in my field of knowledge but there are some people on here who love these guitars. This does have a different color than most of these that I have seen. He can ask whatever he wants, getting it is whole different thing though. I see it's on Reverb as well.

My Proto was $1500 two years ago. I was refunded $100, as the, "OHSC", was some sort of dilapidated POS. Used the money towards a modern HamerUSA case from Fung.

Yes.  That is my pink one that I sold last year.
He is using all the specs that he got from me…they are accurate.

Price is a bit ambitious.
Its a nice one…really sounds good.   I would agree that 8.4 lbs is on the heavier side for a Prototype.
