Too much delay, Dave. Back that down a bit.

FIFY

It's all in the Mix and Feedback controls. Try this setting. 😉

And welcome, Dave! 🙂

I pm'ed MaxSchrek and he responded, so you should be hearing from him.

[Dave Harris]

All good - have made contact with Terry and spoken with him.  Thank you all for your assistance here!

[kizanski]

Yo... We don't get to know what the good news is?

[Dave Harris]

Sorry.  I have one of his stolen basses from 2012 - his 12 string Hamer and I’m arranging its return to him. That was all, really.

[kizanski]

That's awesome.

Like it's no big deal. DUDE! That's huge! How many times do you get a stolen anything back??

And very cool that you're making this happen. That's allotta karma points. Congrats all around!

[Dave Harris]

Thank you!  I’m glad I was able to help.

[velorush]

Amazing!  And a 12-string to boot!

Huge effort on your part getting signed up here and all!

[Dave Harris]

Haha! The signing up took almost as much effort!  But yeah, has made my day tbh. It’s a fantastic Electric bass and it’s been great fun to play with. The reason I found out that it was stolen was because I was fiddling around with Google AI to find out a bit more about this bass and it was a serial number so I gave it that, and the response led me down a rabbit hole which led me to your forum and the specific description of the bass that was right in front of me when I was looking for it online.

I was gonna post a picture but they’re all too big to pin to this site, alas.

[specialk]

Gotta love the HFC!

Gorgeous! Thanks for the pic. So glad this story had a happy ending.

[Dave Harris]

Hopefully the bass is on its wart back to you via Sweetwater. 🤓👍

[a.bandini]

Well done, Dave!  You did a great thing.

[Dave Harris]

Thanks! Much appreciated!

[maxschrek]

Yes! The bass is back in my hands, thanks to Dave! And I've been traveling too much to fully appreciate having it back in my possession, just being in town enough time to pick it up and strum it a bit and then packing up leave again 😩

Dave is truly a saint and I owe him big time!!! Let's just say he hasn't heard the last from me yet 🤟😎

This is truly the "feel good" story of the year!
