  1. Fantastic! What a work of art! Any of us would be proud to have either. I like the black one best, but both are spectacular.
  2. Kind of/sort of matches a Newport I recall seeing, wistfully and lustfully.
  3. Nice. If it sounds as good as it looks, you got a phenomenal deal.
  4. Mine's a sunburst, but for whatever reason I reach for it more than any other; maybe because I got it cheap. Regardless, it's a beautiful guitar, even if not a LP, Strat, or Tele shape.
  5. I'm glad you are able to stay in your house, and your workshop. Your work is always especially impressive, thanks for sharing it. Good luck, to you and your hound!
  6. Thank you Ted, and happy birthday. We are all of us, your friends.
  7. Thanks for those photos! Even my wife was impressed. Things are getting a little bit dusty around here.
  8. I had to look up what cosplay means. It is an inherently insulting term, for sure. However, he might have a point in that many want guitars like their favorite musician played/plays, or want to play those favorite songs recognizably. I'm guilty on both counts, and fall short of either ideal. But never, not even once, have I put on a costume to play a guitar, or any other instrument. I assume he had the opportunity to edit what showed up as written in the final interview. He screwed up.
  9. I was taught to never give a standing ovation for anything the than the very best, ever. Lots of audiences have looked at me with scorn since, as I tried to adhere to that standard. Whatever. That Hocus Pocus performance certainly warrants a prolonged standing appreciation, however. I've seen it on YouTube before, but it remains incredible, fantastic, strange, compelling, and amazing. The Dutch can Rock, even while yodeling. Awesome.
  10. Update: It arrived today in pristine condition; essentially brand new. Looks as if it was originally meant to fit an M3, but with a very minor mod will fit my Talladega perfectly. Many thanks to the HFC! Best, Bill M
  11. On its way to RI. I double checked the measurements, and it should fit my Talladega which arrived in a soft case a few years ago. I've been looking for one of these cases for a while, so thanks for the heads up, Bry! It should take care of things as long as it wasn't used as an ashtray or a litter box.
  12. I just bought the baby-version too, that HamerCustomEr picked up. Why not?
  13. I'll add my congratulations to everyone involved. Lovely.
  14. Fantastic, and inspiring to watch the process!
  15. I just showed all this to my wife, who kept exclaiming "Wow, he's an artist." I think she's right (at least on this point). Nice work!
  16. It jumped out at me and asked I my wife: "What was he thinking?" As I said earlier, all I can do is admire this. Nice work.
  17. Fantastic, as always. Very impressive; makes me envious. No kidding - this is a pleasure to watch, and all I can do is admire.
  18. This is super-impressive. I shake my head in admiration.
  19. You have the best workshop on the planet. And you make gorgeous guitars and basses. If I were 40 I'd ask to become your apprentice.
  20. That is all kinds of cool, for every reason I can think of.
  21. You've got one hell of an eye, and the ability to execute your vision. That looks fantastic.
  22. I agree with your wife. The gold one is gorgeous. So are the others. A trifecta.
