I’d have to install 3 OEM Duncan 90s in order to get the highly touted in-between sounds. But it is in the running….

What are the exact Duncan's Hamer put in these? Mine came with Lollar's. They sound very good. But I think the Duncan's had more output, might be cool to try.

Very sad about those holes in the top. Who does such a thing....

I looked them up on an old HFC thread last month and didn’t save the screenshot @Disturber.

Yeah, the holes suck in that top. He sent me a pic with the custom pickguard in place, but that was meh. He needs to lower the price accordingly for the holes and pickups. That Ultimate top is beautiful, tho.

I know the MIII had the standard Duncan P90's. I just don't know which model that was in which position. I don't want a hot ceramic in the bridge that Hamer used in the 90's Specials and the Artist.

I wonder if a good luthier could plug those holes and make them almost invisible?

@Disturber, according to an HFC post “question: The neck and middle pickups in my MIII are Seymour Duncan SP 90-2N and the bridge is Seymour Duncan SP 90-3B”.

My local luthier is very good and could easily fill those holes. But that price needs to drop.
