I've said it before, Carter's is among my favorite retail establishments of any type anywhere in the world. Try this: go in there and hang out for an hour and just try not to play a guitar. They absolutely want everyone to be playing the stuff hanging on the wall. They handed my son (around 12 at the time) a $50,000 vintage Strat to play just because he said he thought it was cool. ARM OF HAMER Posted January 15 Posted January 15 (edited) Saw that, surprised a little but Norm isn't getting any younger and has had some pretty serious health issues here awhile back. It's probably a good move to sell everything now while he is still on the planet. Get the sale done now and cash out rather than wait and then have the family deal with selling the business and all of God knows what is in his warehouse and its inventory. Many of the big-name music artists have done the same rather than leave all these things for the family to figure it all out. Smart move best to just say it is time. Hope he got a great offer.
