scottcald Posted April 8 Posted April 8 (edited) Cool guitar. What happened to him? I loved his Duncan demos, as good as most of the guys demo'ing on YT. Edited April 8 by scottcald 1 Quote

I was wondering that myself... I think about him once in a while, along with Jamie... I actually liked the dude and thought he played real well... I hope they're both doing well in whichever endeavors they are into 👍 Edited April 9 by Dave Scepter 4 Quote
django49 Posted April 8 Posted April 8 I owned that guitar and sold it to ZMB. He was buying specifically for using it as a platform for SD pickups. He did a good job on the guitar and the demo. I doubt anyone would be disappointed with it! 4 Quote

I'm interested in the guitar. Any info on it? ETA: I called Wolf but they said they don't keep copies of the COA. Edited April 8 by Saul Goodman 1 Quote

Pretty sure I have had over 90 Hamers pass through my hands, like this set of various Monacos and others, so details of each are long since forgotten.....Only a handful left now. I am guessing I sold that one over 10 years ago. The video looks to be 10 years old, so that is probably about right. Features look to be pretty much standard. So maybe an upgraded top, maybe different pickups. Just guessing.... Edited April 8 by django49 4 1 Quote
WorstBandName Posted April 9 Posted April 9 DIdn't ZMB, or someone, sell this one on here at one point for a crazy good price? I feel like he talked about how he wired the pickup selector upside down and that it refelcts in the video and that created some negative situation with SD. I feel like it was like half the price of the current ask. His videos demos were really great. 2 Quote
Travis Posted April 9 Posted April 9 If I remember correctly, he was in a bind and sold it cuz he needed the cash pretty quickly. I’d have to go back and search the archives for his post. But I don’t think he was supper happy about having to let it go. I watched his Duncan demo vids a bunch of times. Killer player and that Monaco is tits. 4 Quote
django49 Posted April 9 Posted April 9 Well, 10-12 years ago, pricing was quite different. Pretty sure that I sold it to him for about $1200. Typical pricing at that time. 2 Quote
