gkelm Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Recently picked this up at the Dallas guitar show. Alder, rosewood, Lollars, nice and light @ 7 lb, 2 oz. All the right stuff...Sweet "old" tele! With original gig bag. ********SOLD...pending payment********** I have amp-gas (eyeing a Victoria & a Fuchs!) Thanks. Greg
cmatthes Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 That's incredibly nice - and it's BLUE. I'm digging Teles a lot lately and have two in the works (a doubleneck Bari/6 in there). That is a good price for that guitar as well, I'm just tapped for the near future.Somebody will snatch that up I'm sure.
cswilder Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Greg,I've got a buddy looking for a Nash locally. I'll forward this along.
kenjones Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Weird - I played that one at the Dallas show. What are the odds with probably 500 other teles in the same room?
currypowder Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 I have almost the same guitar. It's blonde and not quite so reliced. Otherwise, the same specs. It's a great guitar. This one is priced right, someone will be very happy with it.Good luck with the sale.curry
hamerican gigolo Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 Awesome!I just bought a faded Fiesta Red Nash Tele a couple of months ago.Wonderful guitar. You should have no problem selling. Good luck!
gkelm Posted May 17, 2006 Author Posted May 17, 2006 Thanks for the kind words, guys...still available.
santellavision Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 Greg,Just curious, which Victoria are you interested in? I've picked-up a Victorilux 3x10 that is the bomb! Sweetest vibrato you'll ever hear.
El Kabong Posted May 17, 2006 Posted May 17, 2006 Another Victoria user here-Deluxe. A Red Fang sings like angels with this li'l amp.

HAMERMAN Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 One month old and it already looks like that? I would hate to see the guitars you have had for a few years. :-)I still don't quite get the appeal of the whole relic thing but it does look like a nice axe.

I like the feel of a worn (or finish-free) neck...and the liberty of getting dings with no heart break.
gkelm Posted June 21, 2006 Author Posted June 21, 2006 Still for sale...or trade (tweed bassman or flamey/lightweight Historic LP).
cswilder Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 Dammit, Greg, I'll build you a tweed bassman and let you play my medium weight historic LP?Chris
