adding a sunburst or two...

prefer bound and crowned pieces, opaque black/red .

a clean '80-2 trans cherry trans dot considered.....or the right '70s natural finish.

NO mods other than simple pickup swaps,

so no tap or phase switches please. ...

must have ohsc...

Never underestimate a few well designed mini switches. Giant Fender amp style knobs are cool, too. Decals take the cake!

Why have just six polepieces when eleven per coil will do?

That's funny. I always thought it was 12. I never counted. I never owned any either.

Switch or not, that one's a beauty. Really nice burst-I remember the first time it came into the shop!

I am here. Until Saturday at 4 pm, at which time I disappear in the woods for two weeks.

I have actually been missing my old opaque Ferrari Red one lately for some reason:

(the only one I've ever owned of the above pictured was one of the two Reddies, btw - I have a '91 Floyd Sunburst )

Chris-THANKS! I've actually been looking for that group shot pic for about a month now (it was on the old HamerFC Memberpages and predated my present PC at home). Cool.

The red opaque is in good hands and gettin' love. :)

very nice '77....

back in the early '80s there was a '77 floating around milwaukee lokoed just like the above pic....

it sat for about 3 yrs at uncle bobs music... they were asking $695 if memory serves me...

it eventually sold ,then showed up about a year later with a headstock repair. and was marked $395.. a good structural repair but cosmetically a mess.

the guitar sat in bobs until around '90 the i never saw it again...

the neck was just incredible... I should have bought it before the break...

always regretted not doing so...
