sirDaniel Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 yaba! TEDS HAYSEED 15! I'll bring the JCM800 combo, or the VAC V1, or the AC30HW, or the '67 deluxe, or the microcube, or the powerblock, or the GNX4.... But seeing as I've been so dependable... ... better not count on me.
BruceM Posted September 12, 2006 Author Posted September 12, 2006 I learned yesterday that we have to clear out of the banquet room no later than 12:30 PM. So, I'm thinking of going from 6:00 until 11:30 instead of 7:00 - 12:00. I've heard from a few more out-of-towners as well. Book those rooms, folks, they're going fast! And of course you'll want to be here on Friday for the festivities at the 4-3-2-1 Club and Nye's Pollonaise Room. You DON'T want to miss the World's Most Dangerous Polka Band! See them while they're still alive!

BruceM Posted September 14, 2006 Author Posted September 14, 2006 REMINDER: Tomorrow is the last day for the $89 rate at the host hotel. Don't forget to call! They may extend the deadline if you're persuasive, but I wouldn't count on it.Hotel info is listed in an earlier post in this thread.
elduave Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 Alrighty then, I'm in. Flight and hotel booked!
BruceM Posted September 15, 2006 Author Posted September 15, 2006 Excellent! I can't wait to see the elduave show again! This party is shaping up nicely, folks. I've heard from numerous non-posters (both HFC Board non-posters and on-this-thread non-posters) who MIGHT be at this party , including some Twin Cities newbies. I'll be posting some jam-session details next week, and hope to get the music portion of the party loosely organized. Or tightly controlled, however it works out. I REALLY can't wait to see all my friends & family here. Some new, some old. Oh, BTW, the room capacity is 104, so get there early, or you'll be stuck in the bar, or out on the patio smoking.
sirDaniel Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 Nyes bar was just voted best bar in America. No shit!
Cheap Chick Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 Bought my plane ticket last night! Got my digs all sorted out! Minneapolis, here I come! Watch out! Yes, Robbie - Pecan Pie/Golden Smog - V=G/C Ch=C/G/D I CAN NOT WAIT!!!
BruceM Posted September 20, 2006 Author Posted September 20, 2006 The hotel rate's been extended until Friday this week. Anyone else still looking for flights? It's not too late folks, and we're only two weeks away!
BCR Greg Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Not gonna make it, I'll be giving a Robinlover's tour at the Robin factory in Houston with Dave Wintz. Sorry to unsurprise you, Bruce!!! I like how you "expected me to show up without warning" or whatever you said. HAHA I will make one of these times, buddy, and I plan on bringing a nice host gift. Do the rental cars handle as well there as they do in Chicago?

BruceM Posted September 25, 2006 Author Posted September 25, 2006 Do the rental cars handle as well there as they do in Chicago? Hey sweetness, Rental cars are not required in this fair city. You get chauffeur service, and the giant rodents stay in the sewers, where they belong. I don't need no more early morning hallucinations! Wish you could be here, but you know you'll be treated in grand style when you arrive!
BCR Greg Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 You are the only guy I will allow to refer to me as "Sweetness"! LOLRicky still swears that it was a dog, I think it was a rat. Whatever it was, it was lucky I had had 5 cups of coffee.

BruceM Posted September 30, 2006 Author Posted September 30, 2006 perhaps this will become an outlet to book our various bands, eh? I'll work on the manager, and try to make sure he checks out our jam session.
BruceM Posted October 3, 2006 Author Posted October 3, 2006 OK all you out-of-town travelers. Inquiring minds want to know. When will you arrive?I know of a few: Conrad and my brother Gary both arrive on Thursday evening, and will be chauffered from the airport by yours truly. Pam arrives early Friday morning and will be chauffered by Sid.Anyone else need help with travel accomodations upon arrival? If you don't already have my contact info and location, send me an email or PM.There will be a few errands to run on Friday, but I'm thinking that the 4-3-2-1 Club party will start fairly early with those that are simply hanging out. Who's going to be there and when? I want to make sure I've got enough bratwurst!
MCChris Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Planning on rolling in around 5-ish on Friday and going straight to the 4321. PM me with the exact address please so I can punch up one of them "internet maps."
