black magic Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 Blues, just to clarify, is this a Studio or Studio Mahogany? I kinda thought the latter, but wasn`t sure. Trying to help you move this sweet git bro!! Jack.
tomteriffic Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 Dan, you're missing the fact that I'm on a savings/no new guitars program at the moment. Otherwise this would be long gone.
tafkathundernotes Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 WTF!!!! No takers? What am I missing here. This might be it.... Disposable income ain't what it used to be. Under different financial circumstances, I'd be all over that guitar.
Brewmaster Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 Dan, you're missing the fact that I'm on a savings/no new guitars program at the moment. Otherwise this would be long gone. I understand that only to well as I am on a similar program. I have a ES -335 with Diamond F holes I have to sell before I can do anything. When I sell that guitar a Mahogany Studio like this one or a nice P90 Goldtop will be scooped up by yours truly in the blink of an eye.
Bluesking Posted August 11, 2006 Author Posted August 11, 2006 The Studio is now off the market. It's undervalued as it is, it's mint, and I don't need the money. So she's staying home. I had the opportunity a few days back to play it through an old Ampeg Jet (1964) and it sounded like Reverend Billy G. all night long. (At least the amp/Studio did, not me!). Maybe I'll look around for an old Ampeg and finally learn the live side of ZZ's Fandango! Plus, it will look cool next to the 83 Sunburst that I sent off to BCR today for a little repair and upgrade...........Thanks for looking guys! I'm now off to some original Fleetwood Mac and a cold beer - later.
sw686blue Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 Sales are soft across many brands. No one is really buying these days.
