BadgerDave Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Here are a few odds and ends that I’m clearing out: 1. Epiphone Mandobird electric mandolin. Brand new condition. Just like you would get from Musician’s Friend, EXCEPT, I’ve shimmed the neck on this one so it plays with proper intonation and action. Very cool little mandolin for home or stage use. $300.00 with Epi gig bag 2. Robin Octave Guitar. Near mint, swamp ash body. This is a great little tool for mimicing mandolin parts without learning all of those weird mando chords or scrunching your fingers into tiny little clusters. $500.00 with Robin hard shell case. 3. Warmoth Hardtail Str@t. Better than the ones made in Corona – seriously! One piece light weight swamp ash body. Quilted maple neck with Pao Ferro board, stainless jumbo frets, compound 10-16 radius, Fralin pickups, blender pot for all pickup combinations, Hipshot bridge. Brand new condition other than the pickguard which has a few marks. $900.00 with rigid nylon/foam case. That’s way less than the cost of the parts. Prices do not include shipping. Add 3% for PayPal. More photos and details available. Thanks for looking!
David B Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Those Robins are cool. I played one many years ago.
Eric Weston Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 What? no Hamers or Bogners???? but... I've been gigging alot and have $$ that the wife doesn't know about ( I think she doesn't know.....I better go check my hiding spot)
BadgerDave Posted October 10, 2006 Author Posted October 10, 2006 What color is the Strat? It's translucent white blonde, A.K.A. Mary Kaye blonde. Here's a shot of the back that shows some wood grain. The photos make the color look darker and less transparent than it actually is.
Brewmaster Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 That Strat looks killer and with the Fralins has got to sound killer as well.
Guest Meshuggah Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Dave. Which Warmoth neck profile is that? Thanks.Jim
BadgerDave Posted October 16, 2006 Author Posted October 16, 2006 Dave. Which Warmoth neck profile is that? Thanks.JimJim,It's the SRV profile. For those unfamiliar with the SRV, it's chunky, slightly asymetrical and, IMO, the most comfortable profile Warmoth makes. I have three of them.

Oh that's just friggin great, it has a neck profile I like. What a compliment that would be to my Legacy which has a maple board. Anybody want a CS ES335?
Brewmaster Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 Bump for BD. I guess that delicious Strat is still available. Some Strat lover should jump on it. You can't do any better.
tomteriffic Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Doggone it, Dan & Dave! My wallet finally quits vibrating and you have to go and bump this!
BadgerDave Posted October 22, 2006 Author Posted October 22, 2006 Thanks for all of the interest, guys. The Strat, Mandobird and Robin Octave are all still available. As much as I would like to explore trades, I need to turn these into cash. I'm moving at the end of the month and I need to reduce the number of guitars I own to those that will fit in the back of my mini-SUV. That means I need to reduce the total by another 2-3.I'd consider a 3 for 1 trade (+ or - cash), but otherwise I'm looking for cash offers only.I'd lower the price to $1,500.00 including shipping (U.S. only add $50.00 for Canada) for anyone who wants all three.
MCChris Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 As much as I would like to explore trades, I need to turn these into cash. I'm moving at the end of the month ...... to my area, and most Illinois law enforcement agencies only take cash for bail.
RobinOctaveLover Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 I want your Robin Octave. Please send me a reply message responding to my messge I sent you about it. Thanks!
Caddie Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 I need to reduce the number of guitars I own to those that will fit in the back of my mini-SUV. Or get a bigger SUV and keep the guitars. noonan
BadgerDave Posted November 9, 2006 Author Posted November 9, 2006 Sorry, I've been without internet service for about a week. Massive firewalls at the new job block all e-mail and message boards. Just got internet service at my temporary apartment. The Robin Octave guitar is no longer mine. I took a load of stuff to Dave's Guitar in Lacrosse just before I exited Minnesota. Check with Dave - he likely still has it.Link to Dave's
kizanski Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Check with Dave - he likely still has it.Nope....Link
