Moose Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 What size are the Tannoy's? Any pics?Thanks,-mattTannoy passives are all 6.5" and get good reviews on a bang for the buck basis. Most reviews say they lack a small amount of the lowest bottom end compared to larger speakers, but have a surprisingly tight and detailed bottom end that is better than most speakers in the size range. Clarity in the upper end is good with lots of detail, though a little "harder" than perfect. They have excellent off-axis performance. Those are paraphrased from Sound on Sound. I've heard Tannoys and find them very pleasing. The highs aren't too harsh and, with a sub attached, they are exceptional. If I had the budget right now, you wouldn't have the option of buying them as I'd have called dibs as soon as they were posted.
esquared Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 The green guitar behind the puppy looks like my old Californian. I will take that one.
jettster Posted October 27, 2006 Author Posted October 27, 2006 good looking dog Thanks..... How about $350?
